The Aftermath
Axion Cruiser
Soldiers lay dead, both sides took heavy, horrible loses. We may have come out on top, but we payed dearly for our win. Blood and gore splatter on the walls, in the hallways, in rooms and even on the survivors. About halfway up a hallway, there lies a soldier who held a grenade when he was overrun. The walls had been almost knocked down from such a force.
Ships in the hangar are in pieces, flaming. A body hangs from a sharp piece of metal. The man hangs there, dead. The hangar is in ruins, flames, chaos because Ciri go to her ship. This move was bitter-sweet, it may have eliminated most of Del Fino's forces, but it destroyed everything in the hangar.
The entrance to the training room was a wall of bodies. Both friendly and enemy, some were missing limbs, others intact, a few were just piles of meat and bone at this point.

Sola looks at her eyes. "I almost forgot, want me to fix those?"
-
"Sure, it would be best if I disabled the broken ones though..." vaaxius presses a button and a beeping noise is heard as the broken eyes shut down "I have a synthetic nerve system running through my body to make my eyes and lower arms work, it would be a bad idea to work on them while they are active..."
-
"Did you do this yourself?" Sola kneels over her, examining the eyes.
-
"No, a doctor made them for me, you should have seen the prototype, it looked like night vision goggles, I could only see in black and white and I could only see the outlines of things..."
-
"Well, at least you can see now, right?" Sola gets a closer look at the eyes. "Tell me if I accidentally hurt you..."
-
"Ok...." the eyes don't look too damaged but they spark from time to time, signaling that the damage is on the inside of them
-
Sola gets a look on the inside. "Hmm..."
-
the insides are fired and destroyed, they must have overloaded
-
"I see.." Sola reaches into a bag, and pulls out a tiny clamp. She then clamps two of the small blown out wires together to test if they would still conduct electricity.
-
they produces a tiny spark, signaling that while they still somewhat work, they have reached the end of their life
-
She carefully takes both wires out. "This should be relatively simple...just some rewiring."
-
"Great, I'm glad that it isn't too serious..." vaaxius smiles as she looks at sola
-
She sets the old wires down and gets a pair of strange looking new ones. "I have to admit, this is kinda fun."
-
"Are those the new wires? They look weird..."
-
"They're new, but should work perfectly fine." She carefully rewires them, and they start to conduct successfully.
-
vaaxius' HUD goes back to working at 100 percent "Are you almost done?"
-
Sola finishes up. "Yup!"
-
vaaxius turns her other two eyes back on and grins as she sees perfectly now "Thank you, sola..."
-
"You're welcome Vaax."
-
"I'm hungry, do you want to get some food?"
-
"Sure." She smiles.
-
vaaxius gets up and limps to the door, she opens it as she waits for sola to follow
-
Sola follows behind her, and holds her hand.
-
vaaxius leaves their room as she rests her head on sola's shoulder
-
Sola smiles. "Leg still hurting?"
