Can we get a Library in the Tower?
I think it would be a cool place to hang out and read grimoire cards and lore. Heck you could even have quests where you go scavenging for golden age literature. 😊

I like this idea [I]but[/I] I don't know how practical it is. That is to say...I'd rather open my HUD via the Ghost and have a new tab called "Grimoire" which just lets me easily navigate through the cards. A library in the Tower could look gorgeous and be fun to visit, but if you have to load up the Tower and run to the library whenever you want to just read a Grimoire? I think that's a bit annoying (like having to manually turn in bounties at the Tower, which Bungie fixed in 2.0). So, yeah, the library would be a nice bonus but isn't necessary. The main goal for me is to have the Grimoire accessible inside the game, via a nice clean menu (Bungie have built a really lovely menu system, so I think they could do this very well).

This needs to be bumped a thousand times and submitted to bungie via email, Facebook, smoke signals, text messages, hitmen, telegram, MSN Messenger (lol), MySpace, transcontinental railroad, FedEx, UPS, Batman, Batman's parents (lolol), hangouts, Skype, freaking carrier pigeons, and a special delivery at the postmaster. Let's get this seen people. We want our library.

1 ReplyThis is really a cool idea that could have some real fun to it. Kinda reminds me of a small idea I've wanted for awhile in Destiny, personal rooms in the tower. Like every guardian gets a personal room to store excess items that the vault can't hold and it could serve as just a nice hangout place rather than the boring tower. If not personal rooms, then clan rooms or group rooms.

It'd be to hard for bungie, there too focused on making 5$ emotes and nerfing unnecessary things while diddling a finger up there butt.

Edited by Felonious Flatus: 10/13/2015 11:28:59 PMWhile on the topic of new areas I would like a shooting range added to the tower to try out or demo the performance of new weapons because this bar graph system doesn't help me in thinking of how I'll have to alter my play style just to accommodate the weapons handling, and I don't want to sit through loading screens just to use it once throw it away and go back to the tower.

I read somewhere that the hunters had a bar (where the jukebox is now), the warlocks had a study and the Titans? I can't remember-I think they just had a bunch of walls to sit on. Either way the bottom line was that each class had their own dedicated area in the tower. Now [b]that[/b] would have been better. [spoiler]only kidding about the Titan space but I genuinely can't remember what they had. If anyone else read the same article and remembers I'll owe them a cookie as I'm fresh out! [/spoiler]

I get the idea but I wouldn't want a lobby slot taken up by somebody not doing tower things in the tower. Perhaps as another social space altogether.
