Let's Debate : Should POE Get a Yr 2 Update ?
In this post I will state my reasons why I personally feel as though bungie should update POE . Prison of elders was a game mode and implemented in the House Of Wolves DLC it brought new high level PVE content to the game as a replacement for a raid . It was a gladiator style arena that had challenges , select difficulty levels and boss fights . What made POE so fun was the grind to get to 34 and looking forward to the boss encounters each week with different modifiers . It was unique that instead of a 6 man Fireteam you had 3 teammates which made it a more tight knit challenge . Trials & Iron Banner both modes are yr 1 PVP events that have since been given yr 2 updates . I feel as though POE should receive the same treatment . Since 40 is the max level POE could be updated to start at 240, 280, 300 , then 310 . With either all new bosses or updated modifiers and challenges . I hope you all agree that POE needs to continue if not leave your comments below as to why not .

1 ReplyWhy stop there, I want all of year 1 to be relevant. I would like to think most year 1 players think the same. Maybe not all of it, but I'd be happy if it's the raid and PoE gear.

1 ReplyI agree it should be upgraded. If Bungie is keeping it out because of those who did not buy TTK, then just make a level 36, 38 and 40 that becomes unlocked if you have TTK. Then the non-TTK users can still have the other POE content untouched.

1 ReplyNO! So you do not want those that did not buy TTK not to have the right to play PoE, which you even said was from HoW, which some people paid? Those that didn't buy TTK already had many things taken. Please do not say that they should just buy TTK. Some people believe in having principles and this company has shown that it already has a lack of principles.

BUT now that bungie took away elemental primaries from loot table, i dont see how they can still impliment Y1 ascension.

4 RepliesApparently there's going to be a legendary mode for King's Fall, where recommended light level might be 320 or higher, and my guess is Bungie will eventually release legendary modes for all the prior raids as well as PoE where 310-320 (or again, higher) loot will drop.

3 RepliesNo debate needed. It absolutely should. Dedicated players are already running out of reasons to play Taken King. I haven't finished Normal Oryx and so I won't do Hard yet, but honestly I don't really care about that. And I'm getting bored fast. It'd be nice if there was more to do, and to loot system wasn't so messed up that everyone who isn't a hardcore raider gets stuck in the mid 290s. Bring on Halo 5 and Fallout 4.

No it was not fun after the first few weeks. Not because they took the burns away but because it never changed, rewards were bad, you had to grind for a key to get the "good" stuff, and it was only a three person event.

They won't bring it back as yr 1 players won't get gear they need the ones can't get taken king
