So, what does that make the Necrochasm (considering that was forged by stealing Crota's power), if you don't mind me asking?

The Necrochasm is exactly what you said, forged by the power of Crota. In terms of how it works, I had always assumed a part of Crota's soul/mind is integrated into the gun. The green flames popping out, along with the ominous description the the three levels of the gun that seem to be describing the slow progression of insanity, which I think may stem from Crota whispering to your guardian or speaking to them in some form or another...

Was and still is the best Auto in the game if you ask me. Max RoF models take some getting used to the recoil but have a notably faster TTK and a significantly higher DPS. Basically, do you want to crit at 25 at 450 RPM (11250 potential DPM not accounting reloads) or 17 at 900 (same formula equates to 15300 potential DPM)?
