Why would be make a presumptuous claim that you're "making this understandable for the average Destiny player". Typical Christian.

Probably because, if you look at all the replies, you can see most people flip a shit over a simple comparison. Making it simple and paraphrased keeps it from being a 20-page paper and lets people relate.

This post is attracting particular people though and there is zero basis to claim that the "average Destiny player" is Christian or that making a comparison is relative. At the end of the day, I could care less what someone else's beliefs are unless they supporting harming others, judging others or exploiting others (and I'm not going to get into that subject in a gaming forum).

I read it as him saying the average Destiny player is NOT Christian, and so he was paraphrasing the Bible. Or just grouping everybody into the "Average Destiny Player" section. I don't think he was claiming people who play Destiny to be Christians, nor Destiny to be a Christian's game.
