Thanks for clearing that up, but I still don't understand something. What makes the New Testament so much different than the Old Testament? I thought that the whole bible was supposed to be the Word of God, so why do people seem to act like the Old Testament didn't even exist. For instance, I had a children's bible when I was little (I was raised Catholic, but I forgot most of it), and they removed anything that was morally questionable, so it was literally Genesis->New Testament.
