That assassin's Creed is a good way to teach kids history? After all, syndicate is based off the industrial revolution.

When I was in high school during my freshman year in my world history 2 class. I did well during the Italian Renaissance age because of Assassins Creed 2. I said well that was easy

It is based on history but they add stuff in to correlate with the game. Unless you want kids believing in a secret war that lasts for eternity and magical artifacts that can do basically anything and that they can jump of a 300 ft building onto a haystack and be ok, this would be a terrible way to teach history.

You mean how it skews history just to fit into its own story???
