I've read several times on these forums that the sequel to this game is going to drop next year. That's a year full of two, maybe three, dlcs. That's a year to do a cabal dlc and find out more about Osiris and the stranger. Ok we get it. But why not, and this is only my theory, make destiny 2 another dlc? Sure it's a whole new game, but playing TTK felt like a whole new game. It had a better story and so on. Our current max level is 40. A lot of games are 99-100. I think a few are even 120 with the D3 expansion? So within a year lets tack on 20 more levels. I think Destiny 2 will cap us at the 100 mark and allow us to explore a new galaxy thanks to cabal tech that we will "receive" on the drop date shortly after a cabal dlc. Any other theories? Just throwing it out there, Diablo 2 was out for several years before the third.
