That's like asking why a 5th grader would push a girl. The answer is normally...
because he likes her and doesn't know how to express it.
Either that, or he's trying to show off for his friends. I feel like most guys get really nervous playing with me (a grill). Whether they think it's because I'm going to judge them harshly or because they haven't encountered a female gamer before or they're just shy people, I don't know.
Sexual comments, to me, are mostly playful. "Get back in the kitchen." Is a common opener, which is fine. Sometimes used in a funny context, and sometimes used aggressively. You simply respond with "But why? There's no men here to make a sandwich for, just little boys." And then roll on with the process. I think they're assuming everyone joining will be male, because that's the norm in gaming, so having a girl there is like "SURPRISE, BITCHES!"
One guy thought I was a squeaker, because I wasn't talking a whole lot. When he aggressively asked me how old I was, I laughed and answered "29. And a chick." His entire demeanor changed. He stopped being an asshole and started stuttering, because he had never played with a girl before. I told him that I was just like a dude, except for the boobs and other hardware.

That's hilarious. Raid noob here right, so I found a forum that recruits noobs. I put my GT down, etc etc, and get an invite. I join. Guys: Hey! Me: Helloo! -long pause trying to figure out whether I'm a 12 year old boy or a girl- Me: I'm not a 100% noob, my boyfriend did this for me last night so I could watch what to do. -demeanour changes, everyone is chatty.-

Edited by Crimson: 10/14/2015 5:19:35 PMNormally I raid with my BF, so he's the one talking. lol. It's amazing how the demeanor changes. It's also unfortunate that I apparently sound like a 12 year old boy. :/

I guess if I murder somebody that means I love them!

If you're a psychopath, then possibly. But as we grow older, we SHOULD develop better skills than physical assault to display our affection for another person. That being said, most people encountered on Destiny are not at a fully developed emotional stage, so teasing naturally happens.
