Excellent. I think you are spot on with just about everything. Although it is debatable whether or not the Ravenous Heart is an actual worm, you've got the essence of the Gun's design nailed. I wish there was some discussion about the Books of Sorrow and the implications of King's Fall. Looking at my "name", Cabal Destroyer, the Vexbane, makes me think, I wonder if The Touch of Malice actually allows Oryx to continue living posthumously in the gun through his Destroyer, the Guardians. Since we did not take his place and assume his throne, he had to figure out a new way to continue on. The only logical conclusion is that he becomes something we need/use.
