I just want to mention that Oryx, his sisters, Crota, and the Deathsingers have acausal powers granted to them by the Worms, meaning that Ir Anûk does not necessarily need to follow the law of conservation of energy. The whole gun operates on acausal principles, similarly to the Vex Mythoclast.

The Vex Mythoclast bends time

The Mythoclast has the paracausal ability to "…bind[s] space and time into a causal loop." The Touch of Malice draws from Oryx's acausal abilities, which is why I said they are similar.

I think their relationship has more to do with them having different abilities. It Halak can tear worlds apart in such a way that Ir Anûk is able to implement them into Oryx's throne world.
