[b] He waves a hand through the air.[/b] "Trinity can help her. And plus she'd rather be shooting a pistol anyway. I'm kinda forcing her to learn with a sword."

Ah. I see. So... [b]She steps back a few steps, then unsheathes her sword.[/b] Shall we start?

[b] He chuckles. [/b] "eager aren't you?"

Yes. I am. I have a lot to learn. Like, a lot a lot.

[b]She charges you, and then tries to hit you with several sloppy thrusts.[/b]

[b] he dodges a few, until he grabs the blade with his bare hand and chuckles.[/b]

[b] he smiles.[/b] "Don't think ill of yourself. At least you know you're supposed to thrust with a Rapier. I've seen worse."

Heh. I feel like I'd still be killed instantly.

[b] He frowns.[/b] "Don't talk bad of Yourself. If you don't have confidence in yourself then there's no helping you."

Oh trust me, I have confidence that I can get better.

[b] He grins.[/b] "Good. Now. First thing, tighten up your stance. You have too many holes in your defense. Second, treat the weapon as if its an extension of yourself, not a weapon. You're the weapon, the blade is a tool."

Okay. I'll try. [b]She readies, her stance looking better this time. She charges yet again, the handling visibly better, but not quite good.[/b]

[b] Lance bats her sword with his forearm, sending it flying, landing point down with such force it sticks into the concrete.[/b]

Holy crap. [b]She retrieves her sword.[/b] Was that better?

[b] He nods.[/b] "Yeah, it was better. Just keep a hold of your sword better. And use the fact that you have to thrust to your advantage. It's much harder to parry a thrust over a slice."

Okay. Sounds good. Can we practice some blocks? I don't wanna get run through before I have the chance to attack.

[b] Lance's figure blurs, and suddenly he's pressed up against her, his sword at her throat.[/b] "You mean something like that?" [b] He smiles.[/b]

Yeah. [b]She smiles back.[/b] I like you this close. [spoiler]Now that she knows, she'll be kinda flirty.[/spoiler]

[b]She raises her sword. She gets into a defensive stance.[/b] Ready.

[b] He rakes her up and down with his eyes and smirking.[/b] "That's a sight I could get used to".
