T4R I've always done it. I've gotten to the point where I usually don't even realize I'm doing it.

Don't know. Science says 'eh? Maybe bad maybe not bad?' https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eating_mucus Excessive nose picking is bad, but not really that bad.
