WW3 Chemical Warfare

Shits like acid when it gets in your eyes. This is what the Germans made after they first used Chlorine Gas in the Trenches. It was called Hëd und Shöldas and was used in appliances such as industrial bleach after the war ended.

 • Chlorine gas is actually a strong base. Acting as a strong nucleophile chlorine gas will attack organic molecules with nucleophilic attacks. It acts as a base because it holds a negative charge from the excess electron density it holds. Unlike, something like iodine which is large, chlorine is a rather small element and will search for nuclear rich areas of organic molecules to disperse it's excess electron density. It will make a weak covalent bond with another chlorine atom, however, this bond is extremely weak.
