The weapons got nerfed because Bungie said so. They owe you zero in the explanation department on why they did it. They retreaded this game for the third time in the space of one year. Everything you're complaining about is moot. Have a nice day.

Actually its in their best interest to engage the community and address our concerns. It generates sales, helps with retention of active players fosters brand loyalty. Ask anyone in the industry brand loyalty alone is worth big money. Its what got a ton of a lot of us to buy the game in the first place.

I don't disagree with you at all; however Bungie has taken a refined version of their response to the community's concerns. It goes like this: If you don't like it, don't play it. Of course, this explanation is decorated with a lot of flowery words and lovely metaphors about being a guardian and fighting the good flip, flap, yappity-yap fight and for your troubles, here have an emote!

I just wonder how can they ignore that this attitude will come back to haunt them long term. Perhaps they espouse the recent trend of people running companies like they are going bust, extracting maximum profits short term but losing the whole thing in the long run.
