I mean, I became a helper just by asking questions on people's who didn't have a question yet. OP just noticed I was doing it and asked if I wanted to be a helper. Just make sure they're thought provoking and not just recycled off the last guy. I'll recycle a question if no one answers it, or if it's long enough ago, that people may not notice.
