Yes if you throw no hammers you can stand around in super for a while but hammers cost about almost a fifth of the timer. This super is meat to be like arc blade and Stormtrance in its effectiveness needs to last as long. Hammer are very easy to dodge and may take 2 for a single target. Golden Gun is a quick stronger and easier to aim super that doesn't drain timer on its attacks. You can shoot to shots from GG and still have plenty of time to find the next target. Hammers do not track and have a small blast radius. Simply jumping back will avoid it and the slow travel speed gives you plenty of time to move.
