WHY ARENT WE FUNDING THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS?!!! Why do we worry about overpopulation when we could be researching these planets to see if they're capable into being made habitable or sustainable for agriculture?

Humanity will die long before we make any major progress in long distance space travel lmao Less funding should go to pointing out "potentially habitable" planets and more should go to solving the current global warming
-
Actually NASA have been testing a new drive and they may have accidentally accelerated particles to faster than the speed of light and created what appears to be a "warp bubble". Obviously there is a lot more testing to do before the even work out if they did what appears to have happened. Basically whether they did or not you should avoid making absolute statements about things that you can't possibly know.
-
Will take atleast 20 years to make any small progress on that
-
Pretty sure humans will own earth for a lot more than 20 years.
-
Ptff, is this a joke?

Edited by txarmy07: 10/18/2015 3:29:01 PMUh huh, because Earth's climate doesn't change over time at all right? Because Wegner's theory was completely wrong right? CONTINENTS MOVE. THEY GET WARMER AND COLDER, THERE IS NO REASON TO WASTE MONEY ON SOMETHING WE CAN'T STOP.

Edited by FuzeMainIn2k17: 10/18/2015 3:31:07 PMWe can slow it down And im talking about global warming, continents have and will always move.
-
And how do you suggest we do that? Throw sticks in between the plates?
-
We can slow down global warming I meant
-
Yeah. That was what I was replying to. As I said earlier, continents move around and move into colder and warmer areas.
-
You're implying humans have no impact on global warming
-
I'm not. You still do have the Greenhouse gases that trap heat.
-
Well there you go, I hope you understand my point
-
Because making sure Walmart doesn't have to pay its workers enough to not qualify for govt assistance so the owners can get richer is obviously more important.
