Then what separates destiny from other games?
Nothing special, you see destiny revolves around the supers as a core function, and it's not like Shaxx can take away guardians light and make them keep them from using their supers.
Plus it would throw off the crucible idea as a whole. Crucible is where a guardian thrives to be the best and enhance their skill. And saying having skill without their supers is something useful it isn't. Light makes a guardian strong and powerful. Without it they are just another guy, without powers.
So if you take away their super you are basically taking away their light, so how can a normal guy take on a knight in the wild without any enhanced strength?
English
-
they could say that shaxx is training them in pure gun skill because guardians can't always rely on their Light powers AKA Space magics
-
Without their light they die, it's inevitable. So honing a skill that would only let you last a few more seconds is pointless

Then again, "Knights in the wild" are not applied 2 to this idea. it would simply be two teams of three nornal guys fighting 4 glory. no wild knights in Trials/Pvp
