1st of all the only players that have a surplus of exotic shards are. . . 1) Day one players 2) The ones that are REALLY lucky with 3oC, or the ones that used the rocket exploit before the patch Not everyone has an abundant amount of them stashed away in the vault (if I'd have known I'd have bought all I could pre TTK) & now in order to get Glass Needles we have to have at least one we are willing to part with (instead of infusing a piece of gear/weapon) just to take a chance at better perks. Why has Xur stopped selling exotic shards? When/Will Xur sell them again? Before everyone starts saying "dismantle your year 1 stuff" or "Pray to RNGeezus" or "just buy gear he has, level it up and then dismantle it and maybe you'll get 2 shards" I already have dismantled my year 1 items (except for THORN!!! Lol) and I prefer to keep religion out of my games, thank you! My RNG luck has not been good enuf to take the chance of trying for 2 shards from 1 item, besides that when he did sell shards they were 7 strange coins. I could buy 2 for the price of gear (also I don't want to take the time or motes of light to level up gear I don't want) So Bungie, please bring back exotic shards to Xur's inventory as they are an essential piece needed to make the gear/weapons we like better so we can use them more.
