I agree there's no reason to keep old weapons behind. At least old exotics and raid gear. The old vendor stuff I don't mind deleting. To me it makes no sense to release a weapon tuning to nerf some of the weapons but then turn around and say well they're going to just stay where they're at. Why nerf them then? If any weapon is going to be useless I'd rather not see it in a loot drop or legacy engram from xur. People say they'd be the only weapons we'd use and we won't try the new stuff. I think that's wrong. I'd still be trying to get the sleeper simulant if I had a 280 gally. I haven't even had the gjallarhorn that long and I didn't even rely on it all the time. I used the hunger of Crota more than the gjallarhorn and before that it was either a hezens vengeance or one way ticket. I got my first gjallarhorn right before the house of wolves. I didn't beat skolas until after the taken king lol and I didn't use my gjallarhorn. I never used it as a crutch but it was nice to have options.
