With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass. [spoiler]y'know, i just remembered that curiosity did kill the cat[/spoiler] Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable. Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well. Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains. Edit 4: STAP BLOWING UP MY PHONE PLZ But seriously, I'm glad to see so many people in this usually salty as -blam!- community being so positive and having polite debates. Shows we have hope for a few more years. Edit 5: Over 1,000 replies! Woot. Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

  • I think the length of the super be slightly adjusted to be a bit shorter I think every other super should be armor buffed so a shotgun and melee won't kill it Thats it, it should take a super to kill another super thats it, no guns/snipers/nothing/ make it require a strategy to use it offensively or defensively.

  • All it needs is to have armor in line with bladedancer and have hammers drain more energy while duration remains the same, imo

  • I think I'm going to go ahead and level my warlock, i can already see sunbreaker being ruined lol...if I'm lucky I get my super twice per match, I really don't see what all the fuss is about guys, why should one super (gg) automatically one shot the class that's supposed to be the tankiest? I've probably been shut down more by shadow shot than kills with HoS, honestly the most annoying thing in pvp is tether, I'd rather just be taken out than be slowed. But while it annoys me, I'm not calling for a hunter nerf...are you guys new players, haven't you learned when we ask for nerfs we end up kicking ourselves in the butt? Examples...mythoclast, pocket infinity, auto rifles went pretty much extinct I'm year 1...the list goes on. Happy hunting guardians.

  • I think the damage reduction is a little much, so adjust that but leave the amount of hammers and health regen. Changing that would completely change the PvE usage of this super.

  • I believe the armor should be toned down slightly, keep health regen, and then as a bonus golden gun hunters get the same armor stats as us in their super still with no health regen

    • Titan main. Bring the damage resistance down to just below a sunsinger. Add a slight delay to health regen or fix hungering blade to be instant so hunters can stop crying.

    • Replace it with a subclass that lets Titans turn invisible and bring ourselves back to life :)

        Increase sniper precision multiplier against specifically Sunbreakers so LDR type snipes can headshot the super. Why should GG have 3 (usually 4 during Year One) instakill shots, and only use one to shutdown the Sunbreaker and still have 2-3 left over? Maybe increase precision shot damage in general? Most of the class is built around the super. It's job is to make the Titan have 20 seconds of fame, but when outside their super... the class is meh.

        • It needs a damage resistance decrease. Right now it is too high allowing us to live through something that would kill any of the other supers

          • Take off cauterize and give them a 2 nade perk. Make it easy for people to gang kill them even if the titan gets a kill.

          • Been a titan since day one and I have to say, two sunbreakers battling pretty much comes down to he gets the second hammer hit in. Maybe a slight reduction in super armor would be fine though, even without max armor you can survive a good bit now. With my current build (I spec recovery more so I can get back into the battle) I am able to recover quite quickly and the only thing I can't survive is another super (yes that is golden gun and arcblade included), high impact sniper head shot, and rockets. Other than that, nothing else should be changed. Before anyone goes into a rant about "Oh well I can't golden gun infinitely while" please stop for two reasons. Hammer of Sol is more like Arc Blade than Golden Gun. Just because they are both ranged and solar supers do not make them similar. Also, when you swing/get a hit with arcblade, what happens? Your super meter goes down drastically correct? Same thing happens with hammers. If you just spam it sure you can get a lot of swings, but you are not going to hit anything and waste your super. Same thing with Hammer of Sol, except just throwing one decreases the super bar by a good bit. In PVE it's a good idea to spam hammers for the DPS, in PVP this is just stupid unless for some reason the enemy was idiotic enough to just walk down the corridor to you. That being said, I also think that Gunslingers should get some armor with their supers. Right now they are the LITERATELY the only class that doesn't get super armor and that really isn't fair.

            • Idc what they do for PvP, I really dont give a rip. But the PvE based Titans should not be messed with because of PvP complainers. IMO PvP ruins PvE look at how many thing have been negatively impacted in the PvE side of the game (the majority of the game), impacted by nerfs meant mainly for PvP. Look at the Mythoclast for example, look at how they broke that. PvE wise, there is no need for a sunbreaker nerf. But all of this is coming from a PvE player.

              I've been running my Titan a lot lately, especially after Sunbreaker. It's a lot of fun and in pve it should stay the same However, in pvp it is overpowered. The maximum number of hammers you should be able to throw is 3. Why 3 instead of 4? Because of the amount of increased damage the Titan can take when active. The golden gun? No increases to armor or shielding. For those that say that limiting the number of hammers would be "unfair" ... are you kidding me? I miss occasionally with Golden Gun, I never miss with a hammer throw. Even with explosive rounds GG has no where near the area effect of the hammer. The hammer has proximity guidance, get it close and you hit. The reticle for the hammer includes a lead and elevation markers that do work, especially with proximity guidance. Also, Nightstalker isn't alone with the spamming trick. I've seen Titans do it too. If they can't make changes to pvp without changing it in pve then Bungie should do nothing. If they applied the above changes in pve it would ruin the hammers, particularly against mobs of majors. I love Sunbreaker, but in pvp it's unbalanced.

            • In my opinion, its not OP and shouldn't receive a nerf. But because it will get one, here's what I think. Make Sunbreakers take more critical shot damage. This would nerf them in PvP, but not a lot, and mostly keep them the same in PvE. I believe this change would make it so Sunbreakers would be easier to kill, but only if you were a semi skilled player. People would no longer have to haul ass when they hear a gong, and the general strength of the super would be maintained. This is only if they get nerfed. I don't think they need one.

            • Lower the armor, mainly due to the fact that I put 3 sniper shots into a sunbreaker and didn't kill him. Other than that, it's a great super for both PVP and PVE.
