With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass.

Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable.
Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well.
Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains.

Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

Slightly decrease range of hammer, decrease damage reduction by 15, make hammers go slower but increase blast radius and make titan so he cant jump as high as usual. I think this would solve all problems, but pretty much giving a slight damage resistance reduction would do it. Hunters will still whine tho

umm. nothing. no seriously. break down sunbreaker into pure numbers. offensively, it's the only epxlosive super that suffers from blast radius damage fall off(aka the further from point the less damage you take) it's explosive radius is also very small (2 meters), the hammers travel at such a slow velocity that they are easily dongeable at medium distances and beyond, furthermore, the hammers have a ballistic arc meaning sunbreakers are NOT aiming a death cannon to you...they are literally throwing a a explosive football, the further the distance the harder is is to aim it, since they have to aim at the sky ABOVE the target, and not at the target.. defensively...its ON par with the other mobile supers, the super and it's damage resistance is NOT why sunbreakers are surviginv gg shots, the only reason sunbreakers are surviving is because they max their toughness which gives them 5-10 more health then other classes...it's a miniscule bonus, but it is BARELY enough to make a sunbreaker survive a gg, if they remove their gg survivabilty, they need to rebalance ALL teh classes to where toughness, agility,and recovery hav eZERO affect in pvp, because otherwise they are shitting on the toughness oriented titan class archetype. lastly, theirs a mapwide gong when this super is activated, just avoid it. easy as that.

Hunter main here . The only thing I would change about them is their damage resistance. Changing that will not affect it in PvE because they have cauterize. Each kill will heal them and that happens a lot faster than hungering blade. Hell it could even force them to be more strategic about using their supers. Only reason people don't want the shield changed is that they know they'll get less kills. It's a crutch and they don't want that to change. It's an offensive super. Strong in offense, weak in defense. As it is, it's low risk high reward. Just my two cents.

I thought they needed a slight nerf, but after this iron banner it's pretty obvious that sunbreakers are op, they just run around chucking hammers without any fear bc the armor and health regen as a titan main, it's embarrassing at how little skill it takes

I play as titan but main a hunter only real thing that needs to be fixed is the ridiculous damage reduction and shields.

Change forgemaster to something else and have us use the scorched earth method to throw more hammers. That way we can't have more hammers plus the cauterize perk for heals on kill. That cauterize perk should be for the melee super perk, or for general grenade melee type use. That would fix the "issue".

A little nerf: -Make it were you can not throw another hammer till your previous has blown up. -maybe a slightly slower hammer flight speed. - cauterize on triggers health regen, not refill health partially. -Defender master race.

I could see a small armor nerf. Otherwise, HoS is pretty much all the class has. Its melee is garbage. Short range and takes time to kill with its DoT, so you can die before the opponent does. Grenades are ok, but we don't have any kind of trap or homing grenades like the other classes. Most of our perks are centered around our super, except for a couple. Fleetfire is decent when it's up, but unless you're running a Seething Flames build with heavy discipline and strength, you won't be seeing it much with only a 15 second duration. A lot of players have a problem with Cauterize, but you can't nerf that really because it's one of our few abilities that doesn't always require HoS to work and nerfing it would make us even weaker when we're not in super mode.

Since the main counter that I see to people asking for an armor NERF on hammer of sol is that the Titan is a tank so it should have a lot of armor. I think that they should have a speed nerf. They can be a tank, just don't make them a race car too.

The shield should either go or be reduced dramatically, I main a Titan but understand the pain when coming face to face with my super

I don't play much pvp, and in pve I think its balanced except for the sunspots. The hammers create sunspots perk can do some serious damage, and if melting point is active too, you can kill bosses alone with that. In pvp, lower damage resistance so 1000-yard stare esque snipers can get a one headshot kill, and golden gun can kill. No other changes are nessecary in my opinion

The titan itself? Nothing. Buuuuuuuuuuut, the armor for the other supers should be increased to make it take 2 hammers to get killed. Except Golden Gun, keep that armor the same, as it's always been.

Not a Titan main. I think that when HoS is active, Jump/Movement/Traversal speed should be altered, and reduced by 25-40%. No other changes. They're still a powerhouse, but they're a tad easier to counter.

Huge overhaul. Nerf the super but buff the f*** out of the passive skills/add better non-super perks to make them a viable damage-dealer solar class. As they are now, they're a shit class until they get their super filled, and then you get like 20 seconds to be a f***ing Terminator.

Have the hammers lose their tracking, and make explosions a bit smaller. Keep the armor tho, titans are supposed to be strong

I main a Titan and I kill sunbreakers in hammer of sol all the time. Use melting and shotgun or use melting point and have someone with a sniper behind you.
