Here's the deal, every class needs a change. Sunbreakers need slightly less damage resistance, about 10-15% would do well. Makes it so gg and high impact snipers can 1 shot. Next make them have maybe 1 or 2 less hammers to use and make the AoE a little smaller when using the tracking perk. Next is warlocks, reduce the length of time when using transcendence and/or superconductor which makes you super last longer. That super lasts almost as long as the IB match does it really is UNLIMITED POWAHHH. Finally, hunters shadowshot tether ability should activate immediately, this will help to combat against sunbreakers, heck maybe even give them suppression grenade (after thinking about it I'm not sure how much i like the idea of giving them surpression grenade.) If you do all these i believe that the classes will still be hard to deal with when in super, but will be much more balanced. And these changes won't effect pve too drastically. What do you guys think?

  • The only thing that needs to be changed is the position of perks on the skill tree. Swap the following: Cauterize for sun charge and scorched earth for fire keeper

  • Maybe it shouldn't, titan is a tank class and should feel that way. But too much damage resistance could be a problem. Its hard to find a good medium

  • Not Sunbreakers... What would be the point of playing a Tanky Class then? :/ I personally think Titan's Cauterize needs to have a 3-5 Second.

    The resistance yeah but the less hammer thing, no. Them fixing the hammer glitch was really needed and the regular amount of hammers is okay. Besides, cutting down the amount of hammers will require to rebalance a few other perks rather than making the class fair in PvP

  • I never said anything about less hammers. :l I just said that Cauterize could use a toning down. A cooldown between 3-5 Seconds.

  • I meant to reply to the main post of this person not you. Your idea I like but reducing hammers is limiting than they think. Sun breaker is similar to a golden gun but not, let's not make it like One.

  • It's fair to say I'm wrong, but if you don't agree I would like to know what YOU would change, Im actually quite curious. Sunbreaker is pretty op so I thought a bit of a nerf would suffice. Then the warlock super is pretty insane when it comes to how long the super is so making it not last forever might be better. And finally nightstalker, it is slightly lackluster and i believe making the tether instant would help. And MAYBE add suppression grenades to them. I play all classes quite frequently and i think that this would balance things out a lot more than it currently is.

    I fail to see an issue here.... if something is too strong you nerf it.... if something is too weak you buff it. You don't buff something just because it's nerfed. You buff/nerf something so that is even with everything else. Sunbreaker is pretty op so it would get a decent nerf. Stormcaller is slightly op so it would get a small nerf. And nightstalker is slightly underwhelming so it would get a small buff. This makes them all pretty even imo.

    Night stalkers will receive double suppressors. That will be a problem. The special cancels everything it tethers, plus the suppressor grenade? No, that would be unfair.

  • Titan with the exotic chest piece gets 2 surpression grenades. And I said maybe on adding that, the more I think about it the less I like the idea.

    So bring up that Titan exotic chest piece? Besides I think they added those exotics to compensate the way locks sun gift perk they have.

    True but the fact that one is a special and the other is a grenade that defeats the purpose of the special while off balancing the classes. Titans do have a exotic that does give them 2 grenades, but only if they're using Defender. The exotic simply give them another grenade much like that one exotic for the hunters.

  • Thats a fair point, like I said before I wasn't super keen on giving nightstalkers the suppression grenade. Don't really like the idea of it now that i actually think about it. But I do think tether should activate immediately. Ive been hit with a tether while a sunbreaker and could still get a hammer of to kill the person who tethered me and vice versa.

  • Now that I think about it, why did they add a perk that increase time, but requires the player to be stationary while the warlocks get the same but instead of being stationary, they can freely move?
