I've been destroyed by arc blade while in hammer of sol, it can be stopped quite easily if you do it right

I have as well but they still only have to hit you once and your effort is wasted.

Maybe it depends on the build your running on the dancer but the Times I've died I scored a direct hit on them and they still took me down

Yeah, I've killed a couple as a bladedancer takes two cuts, but a bladedancer is faster than a sunbreaker, so it's somewhat balanced.
