Del Fino Space: Geosynchronous Orbit
Whilst the rest of the crew bickered and fought amongst themselves, Ginger had taken the time to attempt something useful: rescuing Phantom. The two had certainly gone through a few bumps in the road, but in the end, they were a team; family, even. And Matthew Hallwinter would be damned if anything happened to his family.
The massive Del Fino ship would have undoubtably detected the hyperspace rupture [admittedly he preferred using slipspace, but this was all part of the plan], and even if they hadn't they would have seen him return to real-space, but luckily he had appeared out of their range. He knew that even with cloaking, he couldn't get close enough to the ship to phase aboard... Unless he did what he planned to do, which left him with literal nanoseconds to react.
Yep. Another brilliant scheme with no chance of risk...
He quickly triangulated Phantom's position using bootlegged Genesis Comms [he would pay for that later], and then proceeded to activate the hyperdrive sequence on the ship, directing himself just over the Del Fino cruiser. As the stars began to fade around him, Ginger locked himself into a focused state, preparing himself for split-second reaction time and for what he would expect on the ship... And then he phased.
Del Fino Cruiser: Phantom's Location
In a furious miasma of light, Ginger stumbled into Phantom's location, amazed that he had pulled it off. He took a second to catch his breath, and looked up to see what he faced.
