Three of coins are a waste
I spent a lot of time and coins on the three of coins. In total I think I got like 30. I used them all and I only got 3 exotics. Every time I used one, I would make sure that I waited at least 15 to 20 minutes. I got a gauntlet engram. I was excited to turn that one in because I was 307 and I knew the item would be 310. When I turned it in I got a fvcking 290 exotic. Could someone explain to me why I got a 290 exotic if I'm 307? By the way, I should mention that I got it from that super knight on the dreadnaught. So if that effected the exotic to be 290 instead 310.

7 Replies1.3 exotics for 21 strange coins is pretty damn good. 2. Just use them on strikes, timing problem solved. Extra loot, to boot. 3. You aren't guaranteed 310 so check your facts before bitching like some scrub still on the teat.

I haven't had a single Y2 exotic from them, all Y1 upgraded and not one of them above 290. I've stopped buying them and dont bother equipping any more. Don't get me started on glass needles, got some this week, gave them a try, on two of the occasions nothing changed, literally nothing...

3 RepliesDude I would have to respectively disagree. Yesterday in about a five our period I got about 8 12 exotics. Given, a couple were repeats but sc have been extremely kind across all characters. The only issue I have is IB what the f u c k is with that crap reached lvl 4.5 in 4 days approximately I would guess a total of 5 hrs total and only got titan mark, grieves and birth of history and not positive that's banner exclusive. So yeah. That's all

Use 1 every 30-45 minutes, if you don't get anything the effect stacks. Also they seem to be really effective in the raid on the warpriest, ogre and shadow of oryx.

Once you reach level 300, engrams have a chance to drop at either 290 or 310. That's how it works. It's all chance, with a little bit of BS sprinkled on top (cause let's be honest, you're gonna get a duplicate on average). Supposedly, the 290's are supposed to have better rolls, but I've been lucky in getting 310's the last few times, and they're gear I wouldn't use anyway, to know for sure.
