Months? After the dark below release there were 15 good chances a week, plus random drops. At one point I was getting 3 or 4 exotic weapons a week not counting armour.

My buddy swears there is a "luck" modifier that is hidden. He has never gotten an exotic weapon from a nightfall and is a day one player. I started in December and had every weapon and armour by April. I believe you when you say that but I know that a lot of people say that they don't get drops when they aren't giving themselves the opportunity.

I think it more has to do with the data that's saved on time of creation when making a character on how RNG reads your chances, my first character my warlock has crap luck on the other hand my hunter who I made later was my exotic farmer because he always had good luck
