He eyes the man she almost bumped into and gets into his car. He drives up the street towards the nearest bar and steps out. Dean looks back down the street, seeing if the woman was still walking down the street.
-
To his surprise, she still was, staring down at her phone, and walking to the same bar he was
-
He steps towards the bar, checking his own phone. He didn't know why, like his brother would call him after what happened. Dean opens the bar door and open for her, since she was about ten feet away from the door.
-
She looks up from her phone, seeing him standing there She gives a thankful smile, and walks into the bar She sits at the counter, looking up at the plasma screen that displayed a ongoing sports game, ordering a glass of whiskey
-
He walks up to the bar and orders a beer. He watches the football game above her. It was 24-23 in the last quarter. The loud clack of the pads making contact comes through the TV's audio. "That look like it hurt." He winces for the poor guy who got hit.
-
She looks over at him, not noticing at first what he meant, then it clocked in her mind as she watched the replay of the hit "Yeah, sounded like it"
-
He smiles at her. "I used to play, actually."
-
She looks back over at him "Really? What was it like?" Her green eyes watch him
-
"It does hurt, a lot. Unless you know to drop your shoulder." His blues eyes stare back as he sips on his beer.
-
She laughs, taking a drink from hers as well Her laugh, was something that was unique, beautiful and light hearted joy "Well, that part I hear all the time"
-
He puts his beer down and extends his hand for a handshake. "Dean."
-
She shakes it "Jupiter, although my friends call me Jup"
-
He nods. "Gotta say, strange name." He smiles.
-
She laughs lightly again, swirling the whiskey in the glass "Yeah, I get that a lot..."
-
"So, where are you from, Jup?" He sips at his beer.
-
"Another system, Terra or something like that My parents named me off of the massive gas planet that was there, Jupiter"
-
"I'm from that same system. Earth, Kansas in the USA." He looks up at the game. "Come on ref, where's the facemask?"
-
She smirks, watching the game as well
-
He smiles at the Patriots win the game. "Got their QB on my fantasy team. He's amazing." He grins, calling for another beer.
-
"Well, don't trade him for anyone else" She finishes off her whiskey, and does the same, ordering another
-
He takes a sip from his beer, smiling at it then at her. Dean sets it down, leaning towards her. He speaks quietly. "Hey, you wanna get outta here?" Smirking, he waits for an answer.
-
"Um, i don't have a ride" She looks at him, a faint smile touching her lips
-
"I do." He smiles, taking one more sip of his beer, standing.
-
"Well, why not?" Her slightly slurred speech was enough to tell she was buzzed, as she finishes off her drink and follows him out
-
He pays the bartender and puts his arm around her, leading her towards the door.
