Iron Banner needs to be less frustrating

Okay.....here it goes So after going through a painfull week I was able to finally reach rank 5 on 1 of my character. For me that is enough because the problems IB has I don't wanna go through it again. Below is a list:- 1) [b]Matchmaking:-[/b] Why is it that people who are going in IB solo almost always come up against a fireteam of 4 or 6. This has happened to me almost every alternate match. It is very frustrating because that team will have good communication and well randoms don't talk to each other that much. Match making should be based on your fireteam. If you are going in solo you will be in a lobby where there others who came in solo like you or max a fire team of 2. If people are running in fireteam of 4+ they need to be matched against a same group so that it at least is a even match. I am now seeing too many IB matches end by Mercy Rule. Another issue is getting put in a match which is already a lost cause. Few times I've been put into a match where the match ended right when I spawned in and saw that we lost!!! [b]Also breaking up teams to find a better match should not end up with being matched against the same team!![/b] 2) [b]Win/Loss:-[/b] Let's face it the Iron medallion hasn't fixed anything . With a max limit of 5 there is no point in continuing staying in a loosing match. There are still people quitting matches which are a lost cause because well there is still no incentive to continue. 3) [b]Drops:-[/b] It was mentioned that end of match rewards would be the main source of IB drops but let's face it that is not the case. IB related drops right now is like waiting for the boots to drop in VOG.....almost never gonna happen. This needs to change. 4) [b]What IB should be:-[/b] For very few it's fun and for almost everyone it is the most frustrating and infuriating thing ever. Owing to reason like 5+ back to back losses, lag, poor drops, poor match making. Even though it's a competitive mode it does not need to be a frustrating experience. Teams who win progress but the teams who loose get stuck there till they find a win. Yesterday I had a guy T-Bag me when I lost and in the stats I was the best player on my team with good kills and captures that pissed me off so I got all salty and told him that don't t-bag and he replied that he din't mean to do it but IB is just frustrating and he was letting off steam. This should not be the case. These are the core issues I came across. Let me know if you have anything else to add

  • IB highlights everything that is wrong with PvP in destiny. I find the whole experence a frustrating to the point of being painful experence. The only thing that makes normal PvP even worse is by makeing exotic quests bring people that don't like, or would never even be in there if it wasn't because of those quests. PvP would be far more interesting if it didn't give "free kills" to those that live for PvP. If it was just skilled players vs skilled players, or team vs team it would far less frustrating.
