I could list about a million "main stream animes" I've seen for you, but obviously your like me and have watched most stuff. So..... I still have a few I'd recommend. [b]Chrome Shelled Regios[/b] - not totally unknown but definitely not an overly hyped one, I rarely see people talking about it, kinda short (25 ep), amazing action, cool story, and decent character development [b]Blood Lad[/b] - very short (10 ep) but pretty cool, and the DBZ/Goku shout outs are pretty hilarious, cool powers, semi interesting characters, and like I said, it's short [b]Psycho Pass[/b] - pretty well known but I rarely see it mentioned in peoples lists, very cool story, good animation, and it keeps you hooked pretty well, the characters could've been done better, and season 2 was pretty weak, but it's good [b]Knights of Sidonia[/b] - a netflix original, I didn't have much hope when i started it, but the first season was surprisingly good, however, as good as the first season was I overhyped the second one in my head, so when it came out I was kinda disappointed, still good tho [b]Samurai 7[/b] - another that is somewhat known but rarely talked about, I really liked the story, the blend of mech and samurai action, and the characters really have an impact on you [b]SAO II[/b] - it's not like this is an unknown show but many haven't seen season 2, a lot of people hated the first season of SAO, I wasn't one if them, I really liked the show, even with it's very obvious faults, the second season basically took 95% of the stuff I liked in the first season, and improved or expanded on it, would def recommend, especially if your an SAO fan [b]Deadman Wonderland[/b] - another one of those pretty well known but rarely talked about shows, the story is amazing, the powers are fresh, different and cool, and the animation and fight scenes are top notch, would def recommend, and it's a gory mess [b]Kaze No Stigma[/b] - good characters, story, powers, and family dynamic as the main character is a "disgraced" member of a noble family [b]Magi[/b] - starts a bit slow but it really picks up fast and the characters are great Also if you need a good site to watch em on check out dubbedanime.net it's got an amazing selection of dubbed and subbed anime, a giant library of all their shows you can scroll through, and a "generate episode 1 of a random series" button, which is great when you have a dilemma like this, hope I've helped guardian
