"The life of a guardian."She said softly, giving him a sympathetic look. "We each have our role on protecting the city...just not fair that we don't get to pick them." She gave a deflated sigh, looking up to the sky.

"I notice" Wade said. "Thanks for bringing it, Hideo would have torn me a new one" He laughed. "I'm going to be stuck here for a few days, and I'm probably going to be off-duty for a month, at least." He said grimly. "Who did they get to replace me?" He joked, trying to hide the disappointment in his voice.

"Me."She answered simply, giving him a smile. "Cayde wanted to know what happened last night and long story short I'm covering nights. Past few days haven't been so bad."

"See, I told you it would grow on you". He teased her and took a sip of water from the bottle that was on the table next to him. "Won't be be seeing you around the Tower much then, I'd guess" He said. "I'll probably be just working with the Monarcy, renovating the Northern Tower or training the new Guardians. Sounds awful, doesn't it?" He laughed.

"Your luck just keeps holding up."she joked, letting out a laugh into the stale hospital air. She stood and shouldered her bag, covering a yawn." I just wanted to see how you were doing, but I'm bout to catch up on some sleep."the huntress said with a tired smile

Covering another yawn she made her way to her quarters reaching them shortly. Her cot never looked so heavenly before as she entered, setting her bag down. Her ghost flitted out and gave her a look, well if a ghost was capable of giving one a look. "This is going to me a long month for you..." He started, the girl plopping onto her cot. "I know I know..."She said, a small smile on her face before passing out. [spoiler]yeah! Just a warning, I work a 14 hour shift on Saturday so I'ma try and find it lol[/spoiler]
