Dante was deep in the bowels of the Dreadnaught, pacing impatiently in front of a Hive gate while flipping through the pages of Toland's journal.
"Dammit Old Man... Can't make any sense even when you literally spell it out for me..."
Getting frustrated, are we?
"You. Shut up. Trying to think."
After angrily searching through more pages of nonsense, Dante threw the old book at the frame of the gate. A few scattered pages were sent drifting about the dark chamber.
As he went to pick up the dusty tome, something behind him caught his attention.

Edited by cry_w: 10/22/2015 5:09:26 PM"God damn chiten!" grumbles Sigma-3, as he continues to sift through a patch a chiten for a clue, an indication, a rune, something that will point him towards what he's looking for. However, he gets the distinct feeling that he's been noticed by someone, or something. He then turns toward the source of this disturbance, only to find a fellow Guardian gathering together pages from an old journal of some kind. He decides to approach nonthreatingly, but, cautious as ever, his hand is ready to reach for his gun if need be. He then says to the stranger, "Hello, fellow Guardian. What exactly are you doing here in the Dreadnaught?"
-
A party of Fallen was a ways away, walking around.
-
Dante picked up the journal and watched the patrol. "What are fallen doing on the Dreadnaught....?"
-
They seemed to be looking for something, an unknown fallen symbol on their cloaks.
-
"Should we take 'em out?" Ax raised his shotgun. "Wait..." He saw their unusual cloaks. "Whaaaaat?"

"They're... Killing his bodyguards. Ummmm..." He turned to Dante. "Should we help 'em?"
-
Dante closed and put away his book, deciding to go take a closer look at the fallen.
-
They turned a corridor and headed to the Asylum
-
"I'm going in." Ax crept up behind the Fallen, shotgun in hand. A vandal turned around and let out a gasp of shock, which was quickly silenced by a right cross. Ax ducked behind nearby cover, tense with the thought of being found.

"Toland always was a little b[leep]" Hunter-0 steps forward, and helps pick up the pages.
-
"Hah... How would you know?"
-
"I'm a very old exo." He hands Dante the pages.
-
"I'm sure you are, pal." Dante takes the pages and tucks them in the folds of his coat.
-
"So what are you doing here, alone?"
-
"Just a bit of research for a... Personal project."
-
"Yet alone?"
-
"Not anymore." A Titan came up behind them, startling both Dante and Hunter. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya. I'm Ajax, b.k.a Ax, and Dew, my dog, is around here somewhere." Dew, upon hearing his name, came running up to his master. Dew was a total contrast to Ax: the white wolf was playful and aggressive, and the dark skinned human was more level headed. "Your old man was Toland? That's awesome! Mine was a Counter terrorist from Texas."
-
"Actually, mine was a biologist. I was a mechanical engineer until I became an Exo."

Edited by Batman: 10/20/2015 2:59:30 AM"Cool, bro. I wish he'd been able to work on my arm." The Titan showed that his right arm was in fact an Exo arm. "I asked for it to transform into a minigun but NOOooo... the bio-technological link wasn't good enough." He sighed. "Well, at least I have two and that's good enough for my purposes."
-
Hunter-0 laughs. "I was working on that. The brain isn't strong enough to fully operate it.
-
"Depends whose brain we're talking about," Ax replied as he played with Dewie.
-
"Actually, it's a multitasking limit."
-
"Huh. But what if there was a way to expand that limit?" Ax walked over to Dante. "So... Watchya dooooin?
-
"Huh?... Oh... Nothing really." You're lying, Dante. "Dammit I told you to shut up!!" Dante angrily smashed his hand against the frame of the Hive gate.
