How sleeper simulant could be better

So we all know that the sleeper simulant was kind of a let down for some players, especially those (like me) who looked in every nook and cranny to try to find it and waited half an hour just to find a warsat on Mars. However, one thing I believe we can all agree on is damage. The sleeper simulant has some of the best damage I've seen on any weapon in the game period. On last week's tier 3 court of oryx I was doing about 135k for a headshot on the ogre, if that does not impress you I don't know what will. But I think we can also agree that it's perks are not very fitting. Seeing that the main perk is split into two different perks (sleeper simulant and active Ikelos), along with the addition of hip fire, was not very satisfactory as I would probably never hip fire this weapon. The fact that the main perk takes up 2 of the 3 available perks on this weapon is what really disappointed me, I understand what bungie was trying to do, and I wouldn't mind it if it was actually a helpful perk, but honestly how many of you actually hit something with the ricochet rounds? Sure, it's fun to watch lasers over penetrate everything and go crazy bouncing off walls and such, but is it really helpful? Half the time the ricochet doesn't even bounce in the general direction of any enemy's. I truly believe that this could be a truly outstanding weapon, even more than it already is, if it had better perks. Hip fire doesn't belong on this weapon, and it's only special perk allows the lasers to ricochet (how many times have we seen that on an exotic weapon before?) and it doesn't help that they don't hit anything half the time. To me right now the weapon almost feels like the necrochasm when it first came out, rangefinder didn't belong on it, and the curse thrall explosions were not very helpful in most situations. Once again this is still a great weapon that just needs better perks, it's one of my favorite ttk exotics, and I would really like to see it at its best. This is simply my opinion on how the sleeper simulant could be better, feel free to voice anything you have to say below, and whether or not you agree Tl;dr sleeper simulant has great damage but needs better perks
