[u]Plan overview[/u] [b][/b] step 1 - do the daily pvp and heroic story to gain 30 legendary marks per day step 2 - save [u]ALL[/u] [b][/b] of your engrams!! we will be decoding them all as a group on friday to gain maximum strange coins, rep, infusable gear and motes. it is very important that you save all of them becuase it will benefit us the more engrams you save up. if you do happen to get an exotic engram go ahead and decode it right away cause that's exciting as hell =D step 3 - do the nightfall strike on all of your available characters to gain the maximum chance of receiving legendary and exotic gear. we can do them together if it works out that way. step 4 - farm the court of oryx for engrams and crota's bane rep which will gain you more runes to farm more =D step 5 - we need to clear the raid on normal friday afternoon/evening in order to maximize our gear and light level so we are as prepared as we can be for the fight. DETAILED EXPLANATION OF EACH STEP. step 1 basically is important becuase with those marks you can infuse your gear to raise the light level to make you better when the time comes for the raid. also, if you have a lot of marks already you might want to buy vanguard/crucible vendor weapons such as the conspiracy theory, 1000 yard stare, or the hung jury. having a good amount of marks is imperative becuase it would really suck if you ran out just as you were about to infuse your armor to 310. step 2 is important becuase by saving all of those engrams, when we finally decode them on friday you should most likely level your cryptarch once or twice which will give you strange coins, engrams, and motes of light. not to mention the fact that you might get legendaries or exotics from the engrams you saved, and also lots of strange coins too. step 3 is important becuase by doing the nightfall strike, you have a really solid chance of getting some great gear which could mean the difference between a 295 and a 300. the nightfall strike can also get you legendaries which help just as much. the nightfall is one of the best ways to get high-end rewards, and as of tuesday at 11:00 am eastern, the nightfall rewards patch will go live and our chances of better rewards are greatly increased. that means you might actually get something *cough* *cough* Nat... step 4 is important because by farming the court of oryx you are most likely going to generate way more engrams than usual and also recieve a really good amount of xp to level up new gear and subclasses if you need to. the court can also get you bounties and some patrol missions can be done in the court getting you more rewards on top of the already large amount you are probably getting. finally, step 5 is important becuase by clearing the raid we are getting better gear, more experience with the boss fights, and most importantly, we are building team chemistry which can either make or break a tough run of bad boss fight luck. in conclusion, if we do our best this week to follow at least some of this aforementioned guide, we can definitely stand a fair chance against the heroic king's fall raid. i believe in you guys, and i believe in us rising to the top and being something great. -Agent of the 9
