I know once I'm done at Basic I'm gonna probably get a 1911 .45 handgun. It's one of my favorite weapons on the face of the Earth.

Oh god, are you in boot camp writing this post?
-
Nah haha, it'd be interesting though. I'm not enlisting until around January, then when school is over I plan to ship out within the next few months afterwards.
-
Oh alright haha. You going army? My friends who joined the army would post shit on Facebook all the time when they were at basic. I'm in the Marines and didn't have that luxury lol
-
I may be, I'm thinking of being Airborne or the Marines. Not too sure yet though.
-
Oh ok cool. Well good luck with whatever you choose man
-
Thank you man.

Ooooo...magazine fed, gas operated, semi-automatic, hand-held, .45 caliber, CANON! Not the fastest round, not known for accuracy beyond 50 mtrs, but that tumbling round will stop just about anyone with one round. It's hard to "wound" someone. You graze their arm or leg, it'll take it off. Dang! Good choice! Watch the recoil. You got to hang on. Don't squeeze it, but keep a good grip. You might get a scar in the top of your hand between the thumb & 1st finger from the action, but hey.
-
The recoil really isn't that bad, been shooting .45's since I was 11. Now when you get into the .454 casul with hot loads, then it starts to get challenging.
-
Haha thanks man!

I recommend Kimber. Extremely accurate out of the box (price sucks though)
