I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

It's a shame that Bungie turned a once weekly ritual into such a mess. I have no idea why they're so afraid of players having actual progress gear wise, instead they let us rather have no progress at all but don't get the fact that exactly this drives people away from the game.

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with running it solo? My first run last week I ran with one friend and got a 309 legendary chest for warlock, friend got a 310 Monte Carlo. But then I ran it on my other characters solo and got crap, Titan butt flap under 300 and 294 ghost. This week I've run it twice solo so far, first drop was 11 3oC, 2nd 294 ghost. I don't know if it matters but [u][b]IF[/b][/u] I decide to keep running them I think I'll do it with a fireteam just in case.

I used to look forward on doing them up untill HOW came out. Once that hit, i knew this game was -blam!-ed forsure.

I do agree that bungie has dropped the ball once again with this game. Did my nightfalls this week(all 3) and got nothing of importance, Same thing last week as well. The new loot drop for nightfalls is just sad, i like the fact that the gear we do receive is 300+ light but the whole point for nightfalls was to get exotics and not a Higher chance of legendaries, 3oC or SC.

5 RepliesNightfall is fun to play first of all. Any challenge is appreciate which is getting harder as my character levels higher. Second 10 3 of coins? Are u nuts that's at least 2 exotics both potentially at 310, hell of a reward if u ask me.

2 RepliesThe base light level of weapon and armor drops have been massively upgraded. I've seen lots of 300+ weapons, armor, and ghosts. Before patch, most things dropped in the 280s. If you don't see that as improvement, you're delusional.

1 ReplyGetting 10 free Three of Coins which means at least 1-2 exotics is a bad reward? Oh, okay. Yeah you can buy them, but it saves you coins. In a way, you're getting exotics from the nightfall.

Did my nightfall a for the week? Fist time since patch. I got 300 ghost , 12 three of coins. Plus I think 10 strange coins. Meh. The ghost was cool to get, everyone else was getting 310 exotic drops. Or 300+drops. So I would say they have improved.

I will trade you my 290 vanguard ghost shell for those 3oC all day every day. I have 3 of them for the past two weeks so if you have anything else I will trade for that too. ANYTHING.

3 RepliesDid two last night: 310 hawk moon (already had one but great for infusing so I'll never complain when anything drops at 310) and a 308 chest. Saw my friend get a 310 supercell. Worst reward I heard a friend get was 19 strange coins (but that's not really THAT bad). I'd say rewards have greatly improved.

I got a 308 ghost with my Hunter, 308 Helmet with my Titan... In the raid I finished tonight, I got a 304 ghost, 300 tea towel, and 302 gloves, nightfall was the better bet for me this week.
