I think players should have an option for personal space or player housing. The player housing can come in two basic forms barracks and domicile. Barracks start out simple in a shared space with access to an auxiliary vault. This vault would be akin to a foot locker. As players rank up better barrack spaces would be available eventually ending in private quarters in the tower. A domicile would be located in a special sector of the lat city at the foot of the tower for guardians who seek more of a traditional housing arrangement. Domiciles a more like small apartments some larger than others and require an upkeep to be paid. However these spaces would offer the benefits of being the most customizable and have a much larger auxiliary vault. [u]Special Note[/u] auxiliary vaults are separate of the vanguard tower vaults. Decorations would include banners related to the faction of the gaurdians choosing. Trophies obtained from defeating bosses an example would be Omniguls claw or a container of Crotas Ectoplasm or Valus's Banner maybe even the Helmet of a fallen Kell. Weapons would be able to be displayed as trophy items as well, how about hanging that Swarm up that yoi can't seem to get rid of what more fitting place than over your mantle for your Shadow Price or why keep The Devil You Know by your bedside. There's great potential in this what if Faction wars were implemented maybe special faction housing could be made available along with exclusive decorations and shaders for your home. Player's could invite there friends over and show off their spaces and decor. Special permissions setting would be available so trusted guardians would be able to come in at any time or on a temporary or one time basis. However players would [u]Not[/u] be able to access each others auxiliary vaults. The possibility for Clan Barracks and Areas is also there why not have a meeting place for clan memebers to meet and show off maybe even take part in some target practice in the VR training room ? Banner and flags displaying the clans emblem would hang in various areas and there can be a war room with maps of explored areas. The potential for both Destiny and this idea are definitely there. Perhaps if we all banned together and poked at Bungie enough we could see some of these ideas happen. And as always May RNGesus roll ever in your favour....
