TIMEGATED QUESTS
Bump if you hate/dislike timegated quests.

Its a cheap way to extend content life nothing more.

I like quests in whole being time-gated and released every couple weeks. I hate hate time-gates in the middle of quests.

1 ReplyI have mixed feelings about it. On one side, I like the idea of putting interesting mechanics into exotic questlines. Give a story behind the weapon, sort of (since many of them have nothing to do with the item you're getting - e.g. sparrow quest with crucible requirement - WTF does a sparrow have to do with crucible?!) However, on the other hand, not so sure about the "need" to have a group to complete them. e.g. Paradox is difficult (not impossible) to do solo. Though I'm able to get a group together most of the time without any issues, changes in college/work schedule has made this problematic.

I like the idea of a new quest being added every couple weeks :) I don't like the idea of waiting for a week for the second half of a quest.
