Favorite loadouts?

Post what your favorite/most useful loadout for your preferred character and class is. I typically run with my warlock but am usually switch between subclasses quite frequently. I would like to know if anyone has a superior loadout that is the best to use in PvE. Also what is best in PvP? In PvE I typically run Stormcaller in most situations, unless it is at a particularly tough boss, then sometimes I may utilize my Sunsinger in case of emergencies...especially when running strikes with randoms. My weapon loadout usually consists of a scout rifle, shotgun, and rocket launcher, although more recently I have been using the SS more often. Specific favorite weapons are: Primary: Raid scout rifle, Treads Upon Stars scout rifle, Suros Regime 2.0, Touch of Malice Special: 1,000 Yard Stare, Raid shotgun, 4th Horseman, some of the new fusion rifles Heavy: Sleeper Simulant, Raid rocket launcher and Raid machine gun, swords( exotic and legendary ) In PvP I typically run Voidwalker though sometimes I use Stormcaller. I don't like Sunsinger because usually the smart players will know if you're using it and will wait for you to respawn and will greet you with a shotgun blast to the gut. It is extremely satisfying taking out a Golden Gun or Hammer of Sol with a Nova Bomb. Weapon loadout typically consists of: Primary: Nechrochasm, Bad Jew-Jew, MIDA Multi-Tool, or sometimes Hawkmoon Special: 1,000 Yard Stare or LDR, any fast shooting and high impact shotgun, sometimes a sidearm Heavy: Raid rocket launcher ( mine have tracking, replaced Truth ), BTRD, or swords What do you like?

  • Again as one with all three 300+ characters, I favor the exploding hammers and the octopus bow, but over the two would pick the Hammer of Sol especially in PvE. When running through raids, missions or just grinding out strikes my loadout pretty much stays consistant with each character using an Auto or Pulse rifle, mainly the Anguish of Drystan and the Smite of Merain. Despite the obvious recoil issues the Anguish works pretty well if you're at the right distance. While i don't mind using a shotgun, typically I'll use a sniper, mainly the Black Spindle and Defiance of Yasmin; when it comes to heavy I tend to stick with a good old fashioned rocket launcher, anything with a good rate of fire and reload speed, but occasionally switch it up for the Sleeper Simulant. This all pretty much stays the same when in PvP, with the exception of switching to a shotgun instead of a sniper depending on the game mode and map.

    • My load out is pretty consistent. While I haven't found that one gun I can't put down, it is somewhat of a smaller selection these days. I usually reserve the primary slot for an exotic unless I need the Soindle or feel like using my sword. This new buff to auto and pulse rifles have steered me to them over the more traditional scout rifles and hand cannons of past. I usually find myself in PvP with the banner pulse rifle. I have one over 300 for when it matters. However, I have very high hopes for my new exoctic strangers rifle "No time to explain." If not running a pulse, it's either the supercell or suros regime with spinning up. Special is a little more random. Like I said, Soindle when needed, 1000 yard stair, raid shottie, occasional fusion rifle, invective in PvP sometimes or Conspiracy Theory in PvP. Heavy is either legendary sword, exotic sword, raid machine gun (I have good roles), or the occasional and very rare rocket launcher. I don't find a big need for rockets in the TTK though. I find the LMG way more effective that any rocket launcher I have (raid at 310, truth at 303, and couple others right at 300). I have two sleeper simulants with one at 300, but I hardly ever equip it. I think it was one of those "phantom" weapons that got a lot of hype b/c people were starving for a ghally replacement. It just isn't all that I was expecting it to be. No think people are really wanting it to be more than it is. I've ran a couple of raids with people who have used it, and even heard "I'm going to use my sleeper on "enter boss name" and the damage reports aren't even close to Spindle on Golgoroth or Malice on daughters. Sure it may have more damage per shot, but I can run through an entire mag of 18 with Spindle doing ~90K damage (tethers and weapon bubbles are more) while getting through a whole mag of 7 with sleeper is tough. Plus the ads between gazes always drop special vs much fewer purple drops. Maybe I'm just struggling to find where sleeper stacks up in my game style. Ghally was easy. I used it as my heavy and exoctic 99% of the time in PvE.

      • PVP for me it has to be hammer of sol and red death, can rack up ridiculous kill streaks with the health regen of the red death and sheer destruction on the hammer

      • An owner of all three characters, all 300+, I favorite my warlock's stormcaller. I've been running the pulse, shotty, and heavy machine gun, all from the raid. As far as exotics, I like touch of malice and no time to explain, the black spindle, and the sleeper. Also, that's essentially my PvE and PvP setup.
