I've encountered this issue while trying to group with my son. We both have open nat yet are told we can't group and so far the only fix that's worked is for each of us to go to the dashboard and quit the game then restart it. By quit I mean highlight destiny press the menu button or start button whatever it's called now and select quit. After a few seconds start it back up and try to group again. This normally helps us through it. Hope this helps
