Timegating quests is a terrible idea. If people want to take time doing them then that's their choice. However some people want to get them done quick. Also these two timelocked exotics have had the easiest quests in tge game, as if they were put together in an afternoon.

I would worry more if the weapons were worth a damn.

What worries me is that they are creating the illusion of having a dlc full of content by timegating exotic quests. The fact is we could have done these 2 quests in the first day of release, but because they have locked various exotics behind a timegate we can't get them. And I can bet you that upon the release of halo 5, black ops 3 and star wars battlefront or fallout 4, the timegates for all the exotic armour that isn't obtainable will be lifted, causing people to believe that the dlc had a lot of content. This will cause people to continue playing the game despite the lack of effort from bungie.
