With Spindle, Sleeper Stimulant, and now No Time To Explain, I'm convinced Destiny caters to these kids with no jobs and nothing to do with their lives but play games all day. The ONLY sensible reason to time-gate things is because of the fact that once those gates are lifted, people will 100% be sitting there waiting to blow through the content in minutes. Meanwhile people with shit to do that can't sit at home all day waiting for these opportunities are honestly just shit out of luck "until the next time", an undisclosed day that they still can't prepare for. I didn't think playing the game was too much to ask for these days.

As crappy as it is to miss out, it's still far better than exotic gear being a rare drop "forcing" players to run Nightfalls and redundant raids every week to get more chances. It's a far better system now, but it needs improvement, even something as simple as a list of upcoming daily missions on the Advisors section of the website.

at least make it obtainable on heroic difficulty once "something mysterious happened in this daily" happens

Bungie can't expect working professionals, parents, and even full time students for that matter to have the luxury to drop what they are doing and go onto destiny the same day the mission is available and screw you over "until next time" if you can't log on. I'm seeing that the barrier or challenge in obtaining these weapons is not how skillful of a Destiny player you are, but how much free time you have available on any particular day. Bungie, in case you did not realize, the majority of us are not full time streamers or youtubers that can be on 24x7.
