Fire a Gally shot for my dog, Gali, Guardians
Gali, our family dog, passed away this evening. She was with my family through a lot of hard times. I grew up with her, and it's extremely difficult to grasp the concept that she is now gone. I still remember the nights when I'd carry her up my ladder and into my loft as a kid..
After everything we've been through, she's the first to go- and it's hard for all of us to accept that. She was 11 1/2 years old, and was barely hanging on. She had a basketball-sized tumor in her stomach and it was growing rapidly... She left us today at home, in her bed, surrounded by her loving family.
So if you have the time, take to Earth, Mars, Venus, Luna, or even The Dreadnought, and fire a Gally shot for my pup, Gali.
She was a German Shepard, and a great one. I'll be wearing the Wolfswood Bond for a long time.

[b]Update:[/b] [i]The sympathy, love, and all around compassion you Guardians have all shown today has been both heartwarming and overwhelming. It's times like this when I remember that even though we can be a rowdy community, if there's one thing we know how to do, it's help each other, to be caring, and there for each other. The fact that none of you know me, but have the hearts to sympathize with my family and I on such a deep level is incredible, and I will never be able to express in words how much I appreciate that, and how thankful I am to be a part of this gaming community. You're like a second family to me, truthfully.
Lots of kind words tonight, I'm feeling a lot better, and am going to try and get some rest for the night. Keep doing what you do best, Guardians.[/i]

2 RepliesI'm sorry for your loss... I have a feeling I'm going to be losing mine sometime soon. She just went deaf and she's blind in her left and partially in her right. She's been really shy lately. It's going to be hard to find any dog to top her. She was just like me. Lazy af and would eat anything lmao

2 RepliesI know what's it's like to lose a dog a few months ago my dog was playfully and randomly in the middle of the night she started convulsing out of nowhere so we took her to the ER which didn't help. She didn't sleep for 4 straight days and we knew she couldn't go on and her seizures became worse ... All happened in 24 hours and they couldn't tell us what was even wrong

Ah shit man, right in the feels... I lost a German Shepherd to a broken hip a few years back, the best dog I have ever had. I know how that feels. I will give her a fitting send off tonight in my game.

I know the pain all too well. With me living in the country, we lose dogs often due to nature and wildlife hazards. I'm sorry for your loss. Will be playing a few Strikes with Gjallarhorn to honor Gali tomorrow, may she rest in peace.

Sorry to hear about your dog. We lost our 15 year old boxer about a year ago and we still think about him. I have his collar on my night stand. I will fire ghally shot on each planet including the moon Phobos in honor of you lost pup. Our pets become family and losing one is never easy and you never forgot them, but the hurt will ease in time.

Sorry to hear, friend. I just lost my dog who I had for 15 years and grew up with as well. Just take comfort in the fact that she is not suffering any longer and take solace in the fond memories you have.

Sorry man , I feel for ya. I lost my dog two years ago .. Still hurts but just focus on the good times.

Sorry to hear that guardian. My first dog died around the same age. Had cancer so we had to put her down and spare her the misery of coughing up blood everyday. My in laws had a Doberman that was the sweetest dog you'd ever meet and they had to put her down two years ago as well. I feel your pain my fellow guardian. May she rest in piece. Guardian down. But never forgotten.
