First off, show me the post I "stole" from. Second, I acknowledge Rasputin crippled the Traveler, but not because it was evil. Crippling the Traveler not only would prevent it from leaving (which it never planned to do anyway) but it would also release a blast of Light that would drive away the Darkness and save at least some of humanity.
