Edited by Oak_Khan: 10/22/2015 2:16:58 PMYeah Rasputin attacked the traveler, he didn't realize she was gonna stand and fight

Dude, I never even thought about replacing O with the traveler. Awesome

This is one of the most interesting cards in the game, also because it contradicts some of the other grimoire cards, especially Traveller 2, which says something along the lines of, this is where you will make your stand. Something I think is interesting is that the Traveller causes the Golden Age, and Rasputin exists because of the Golden Age. It is possible that the Traveller itself gave Rasputin that directive.
-
So.. wait.. we killed the traveler - we're the bad guys and everyone's p*ssed at us? Maybe ghosts got it wrong thinking it was the 'darkness' attacking the traveler. Since the ghosts didn't exist till after the event so speaker says '....err the darkness did it' they resurrect us, we then go to war with all the other civilizations touched by the traveler but it was us all along. What a twist!
-
I think Rasputin knew that the Traveler had been to other civilizations and had abandoned them to and left them to a terrible fate (like the Eliksni). Realizing this, Rasputin saw the Traveler was preparing to abandon us, too, and said "Oh hell no" and crippled the Traveler using an anti-matter bomb (I think) -- I believe that's in one of the other Ghost Fragment Rasputin cards. Forcing the Traveler to stay means that the Traveler was forced to help, which I think created the Guardians.
-
Yeah this seems to be the most likely scenario and is actually a pretty cool twist. Forcing the traveler to protect itself and in turn us was a pretty smart move by rasputin and opens up so many possibilities for the future (will the traveller be pissed when he is back up and running?). I also read in another grimiore that rasputin dislikes guardians and the traveller but knows it needs us. Rapsutin is deffinately my favourite thing/character/ai in the game

If Security state is egyptian...
-
I don't think he means Osiris.
-
Me neither.
-
bruhhh. mind blown
-
Very interesting
-
Yes, this is my theory as well. Rasputin attacked the Traveller to either A) Stop it from leaving Earth B) Unleash a torrent of light to push back the Darkness
-
Interesting
-
This is cool stuff. Sucks it's hidden in grimiore.
-
Ugh... Imagine if this stuff was in game....

Considering their fondness for live action promos, maybe they're building up for a "blockbuster" movie or something.
