Exactly. It could be a machine. Or it could not be. It could just be a ball of space magic. So don't say it is. Say it could be. Although I do believe that we know where the exos come from. They were birthed from the golden age tech. I do remember hearing this before the game was released.

Honestly if it turns out that it is a machine I will be disappointed. I would rather it be some mystical bio organic being from a distant galaxy with its own personality so to speak.
