  • They told us the tumor was rapidly growing; that every once and a while it will break, and seal. But once it broke bad the pain would be horrible... She fluctuated in health. I think it was always after a break. But she was so weak, she couldn't keep herself standing. Lots of bed clean ups, and carrying out to the grass outside to enjoy the weather. She struggled to walk on the hardwood floors so we bought some carpet runners to help her get around. Got a heavy pain medication to help her with pain. Helped out a lot. But she got to the point where it was just too hard for us and her. She passed away at home, yes. But with the help of the veterinarians. They were kind enough to come to our home and let her go peacefully. She was given a heavy sedative. Slowly passed away and drifted to sleep. It was comfortable.
