Are you only doing the strikes on a titan. I'm not sure if this means anything, but so far I got all of my strike armor for a different class than the one I was using at the time. I've gotten the saber helmet on my hunter and titan, the undying mark on my hunter, and a flayer cloak on my Titan.

Yeah I got Variks cloak on the taniks strike with my warlock. Was like wtf?
