Hey, you sound like you're from my neck of the woods! FYI, there's a difference in being "politically correct" to the point where it's annoying and in just trying to be a decent person. Most people try and avoid using racist, sexist, or other derogatory terms in pursuit of the latter. That doesn't make them stupid. It just means they care about more than their own ego and opinion.
